January is a great month for planting native plants and heirloom plants in your garden. We propagate our plants from local populations. They are adapted to our climate. Although we have a greenhouse, it is mainly for propagating new plants, not protecting our mature ones. Almost all of our plants have been outside all winter long. Their pots were frozen solid for a week in early January. They made it through that..they will thank for putting their roots in the ground. Nursery is open until further notice today.
