1.5′-3′ tall native perennial is covered with white flowers from August to October. Butterflies, moths, bees and beneficial insects (wasps and flies) all feed on the flowers. It is the larval host of at least 5 moths which are important pollinators. Two of these moths: the Ruby Tiger Moth and the Lined Ruby Tiger Moth are quite attractive.
