Baccharis glomeruliflora (Bunch-flowered Groundselbush)

Description

4′-6′ Tall Native Evergreen Shrub flowers in October-November attracting bees and butterflies. Female plants are covered with white winged “seeds” afterwards..resembling puffy clouds. Native to AL , FL , GA , MS , NC , SC.  It is on the rare list in SC. We propagated our plants from native populations in Beaufort Co. SC.  Plant in average to wet soil in sun or part shade.
