Borrichia frutescens (Sea Oxeye) SKU-BORFRU

Description

Native evergreen shrub with succulent leaves grows knee-waist high. Summer blooms attract bees and butterflies. Birds love the seeds. Native to edges of salt marshes and sand dunes, it tolerates salt wind and salt water (but does not require either). It spreads by stolons helping to prevent erosion. Native along the coast from MD to FL and west to TX, we propagated our plants from native populations in Beaufort Co., SC.
