Hymenocallis crassifolia (Coastal Carolina Spider-lily)

Description

Native bulb-forming perennial. Stunning, aromatic flowers open at dusk and stay open through the following morning.  They attract large moths, butterflies and butterflies.  Native to River Swamps in  NC, SC, GA and FL. We propagated our plants from native populations in Effingham Co., GA and Colleton Co., SC.  Plant in Sun to Part Shade, Moist to Wet Soil. It grows great in pots without holes.
