Rescued from Abandoned Quarry in Crawford Co., GA in 1984 by my father, Dr. Jerry Payne and stepmother Rose Payne in Crawford Co, GA in 1984. Growing on clay ridge in Bibb Co. GA. without irrigation. has thrived. afternoon sun.  Attracting Butterflies, Bees. Songbirds feed on seeds. Deer have not fed on it at that site. Native to VA,TN, NC, SC, GA, FL and AL. 3.5″ pots
