Description
This 1′-2′ tall native perennial wildflower is covered with blue or pink flowers in spring and early summer. Spring flowers are favored by butterflies. Extremely adaptable. Thrives in sun or part shade, average to wet, acid to circumneutral . Spreads well. The plants that we sell descended from ones that I rescued from highway constrction in Beaufort and Jasper Counties, SC in the early 1990s. Blue and Pink flowering plants are not separated in the nursery.
