Description
This 1′-2′ tall native perennial wildflower is covered with blue flowers in spring and early summer. (Occasionally a few pink skullcaps hide out among the blue ones0 Spring flowers are favored by butterflies. Extremely adaptable. Thrives in sun or part shade, average to wet, acid to circumneutral . Spreads well. The plants that we sell descended from ones that I rescued from highway constrction in Beaufort and Jasper Counties, SC in the early 1990s.
