Description

This native perennial is very rare in the wild. In our area it is mainly limited to fringes of salt marshes. However, it thrives forming large colonies in cultivation. Fall nectar source for butterflies. Named after Stephen Elliott of Beaufort. Average to wet soil. Somewhat salt tolerant.
