You cannot drown Acmella repens (Creeping Spotflower). It is native to swamp forests where its roots are often inundated by a foot or more of water. It will also grow well in well-drained soil with an occasional watering. Although, they have been outside in the nursery with no winter protection, they are green, growing, and crawling out of their plants right now.
