Description
5-15′ tall native deciduous vine. Female vines bear abundant translucent red fruit in winter which are relished by songbirds and small mammals. We planted multiple seedlings per pot to ensure pollination. Prefers sun to part shade and average to dry circumneutral soil, they grow well near limestone, shell, masonry. We propagated our plants from native populations in Beaufort Co., SC.
We repotted our plants on 5/15/2021. Any orders containing Cocculus carolinus will be held until the new crop is ready, probably Mid June.
