Description

3′- 12′  Southeastern Mounding Native Deciduos Shrub is covered with large racemes of white flowers in June and July. Their fertile flowers are pollinated by moths, butterflies and moths. The The leaves and sometimes flowers turn a rich wine color in Fall until Midwinter.  Exfoliating bark makes the plants attractive in winter as well.  Prefers part-shade and well-drained acidic soil. Native to AL , DC , FL , GA , LA , MS , NC , SC , TN.  We propagated our plants from material collected in gardens in Beaufort Co., SC and Charleston Co., SC

8/17/36 We have a new crop of Hydrangea quercifolia in production. We expect them to be ready later in 2026 or early in 2027. They will be in 3.5″ pots.
