Description
8″-15″ Clumping Native Bulbforming Perennial produces 3″-4″ long white blooms which age to pink from March to June attracting Butterflies, Bees, and Hummingbirds. IT spreads by producing offsets and seeds. It thrives in average to moist acidic to circumneutral soil. Plant where it receives 1-2 hours of direct sun or 3 or more hours of dappled sun in winter. They thrive in full sun as well. They do not need sun in midsummer to fall as the leaves die back at this time. Native to AL, FL, GA, MD, MS, NC, SC, and VA. We propagated our plants from native populations in Bibb County, GA.
