Description
Native well-behaved evergreen vine. Vivid blooms throughout the growing season attract Hummingbirds and Sulphur Butterflies. It is a larval host of Spring Azure Butterflies, Hummingbird Clearwing Moth, Snowberry Clearwing Moths, and Honeysuckle Sawflies. These insects are important pollinators of other plants. Songbirds eat the red berries and feed on the insect larvae. We propagated this batch of Lonicera sempervirens from a native population in McIntosh County, GA. Sun or part-shade. Average to dry soil.
